Norton Power Eraser failed to remove items

Hi, recently I did a rootkit scan and found a file named jpno.sys, however it said it was failed to remove. I was worried that this is a virus, so I did another scan in Safe Mode with Networking however this time it didn't find the file. Does this file belong to Norton, or is jpno.sys a virus? Help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Why did you run NPE...?   Did Norton prompt for NPE.

Norton Power Eraser uses our most aggressive scanning technology to eliminate threats that traditional virus scanning doesn’t always detect, so you can get your PC back. Because Norton Power Eraser is an aggressive virus removal tool, it may mark a legitimate program for removal. However, you can always undo the results of a scan. It can also help detect and remove Potentially Unwanted Programs.  For instructions on using Norton Power Eraser, see the tutorial
Norton Power Eraser uses aggressive methods to detect threats, and there is a risk that it can select some legitimate programs for removal. You should carefully review the scan results page before removing files.
