I have Win 7 and latest NIS and core 1 7 dell xps 15
Started with Norton not updating ok. They logged in and fixed it and said ok now. Later I rebooted and got black screen and rebooted then ok. Then opened Word and after file opened still had busy cursor circle for very long time, never before.
Ran power eraser again and found Rikvm_9ec60124.sys as bad and removed it.
Did reboot and ran NPE again and found it again. Can not find this file on my PC anywhere ever..
searched online for hours and found no real good answer, everyone never understood the issue.
Got Malwarebytes and found 10 items related to pub. bp so removed and maybe all ok???
Now got super anti virus and ran it and it found one item of Pub.bp so removed and it found 170 tracking cookies so removed them also. Norton did not find these at all??
So now I am still getting the error when run NPE of Rikvm_9ec60124.sys is bad file. I want to somehow make sure that all of my personal info like passwords and such are not getting to someone smarter than I.
