I recently installed and ran Norton Premium Utilities, directly after that I ran Advanced System Care, the volume of Junk Files, Privacy Traces, etc. that Norton Premium Utilities overlooked was surprising. Attached is PDF of the Advanced System Care results.
Really?? I didn't post this comment in search of a response, I posted it as a caution. your statement is superfluous and obvious. Norton seems to pride themselves on being thorough, junk files are junk files, regardless. I would have expected the Norton utilities to pick all of these up and dispose all of them.
My only suggestion is that different utilities might focus on different file types.
Were you able to see a list of what files the ASC found and removed? If you see what it found, it might help understand why Norton did not detect them.
