Norton private browser installer missing

Issue abstract: Norton private browser is impossible to download

Detailed description: i recently reinstalled my operating system, windows 11. did a clean wipe of my drive. when trying to reinstall norton services i noticed there was no way to download norton private browser. it was missing from the main app. see attached photo. luckily i had a backup of the installer from a previous OS installation and was able to run that and get back in to norton private browser. i shouldnt have to use a backup though, for paying customers there should be an easy way to download and install norton private browser as it is a fantasic browser and tool to use as your daily driver, as i do.

Product & version number: Norton private browser: Version 151.0.35255.170 (Official Build) (64-bit), Norton 360 version 26.8.11125 (build 26.8.11125.994) and Installer version 26.8.11504.0

OS details: Win11

What is the error message you are seeing? there is no way to download the norton private browser installer from norton.com and there is no option to download and install norton private browser from the norton 360 app. there used to be an option in the norton 360 app if you didnt have norton private browser installed it would give you option to install it, but now that widget or ui element is missing. definitely make sure you make it easy to download and install norton private browser from the regular norton 360 dashboard

Did you try scrolling down in the box you highlighted on the right? There are often more items listed below.

You should also have been able to get the download from your Norton Account.

I did try from the Norton website but the link redirects to a page without any option to download the installer. I also tried scrolling down on the page in the app and still no way to download it. All I’m asking is there should be a clear and straightforward way to download and install Norton private browser. Nicely asking developers to just please make sure there is a way to download this at a glance

I did find Norton Private Browser on the US Norton website, but it was not obvious, as you say. I had to do a search for NPB and then the search result gave a link to the NPB page where you could download the browser. The Canadian site listed NPB under the All Products and Services link under the Personal category at the top of the page.

I’ll flag this issue so the appropriate team can address it.
