This morning, I tried to do a Quick Scan, but got a message saying I needed access to the internet and should check my internet connections. I had just done a Live Update which worked. So, I tried to access the internet with Firefox and that also worked. Is there a problem with Quick Scan. I did try it on another PC and got the same results.
