I have a question regarding the NIS 2010 Bootable Recovery Tool and NTFS permissions. Lets assume I have two user accounts on a Vista/Windows 7 machine, userA and userB. If the machine is scanned using the Recovery Tool, it does not prompt for a username/password, so I assume directories like c:\users\userA and c:\users\userB are not scanned as the Recovery Tool does not have permissons to list, let alone read those directories.
Is there anyway the Recovery Tool can be used to scan all files on the machine? If not then how do you know its 100% clear of problems.
