On a computer running Norton Internet Security 2011, this is second hand information so bare with me, im the computer literate one at work so im expected to solve..
Apparently they were browsing, Norton detects a threat, comes up with the popup and asks for a restart to fix. They restart and now Windows XP wont boot. Doesnt boot into safe mode. This computer also has another partition with the windows cd on it to recover from these sorts of problems but that doesnt boot either, comes up with a blue screen of death.
So on another computer at home (not running Norton Internet Security) i decide to download the Norton Recovery Tool but the wizard fails. It cant find the location of the usb or dvd drive. It cant even find my c:/ drive to write an iso image. Wizard fails every time.
Tried re-downloading a few times and fail, different cd's, usb's, i dont know how to solve this one, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
