Is the Norton Removal Tool no loger recommended to use as a standard part of uninstalling older products or unintsalling/reinstalling 2010 or 2011?
As some may know, I had uninstalled nav 2008 and installed NIS 2010.
I used the NRT after removing NAV2008 via add/remove programs
I also had uninstalled NIS 2010 and reinstalled it again (after unwarrented concerns)
At that time I unistalled NIS2010 via remove program functions of Vista and then ran NRT 3 times
So now is it NOT recommended to use NRT as a standard part of the norton program removal?
What about thos of us who recently used it? Did it corrupt the current product installation (in my case NIS 2010)
Do we need to uninstall again but leave out the NRT part?
