What if you reinstall your card reader software after installing Norton 360 v2? As you probably noticed in other threads the problem I had with v2 conflicting with other software, I had to uninstall and reinstall older software after v2 because of that dot Net Framework “software mangler.” It was still no guarantee that things would work doing this. I found uninstalling the add-on pack got rid of my problems including my mouse with a mind of it’s own.
Hi whbos
It only seems to happen when removing a Norton 360 product.
e.g..
Either Upgrading to 360 v 2 when 360 v 1 is still installed ...
So v 2 takes v 1 out - And Card Reader with it
Or when using the Norton Removal Tool
Once the Card Reader is reinstalled it's OK - Well I think it's OK!
I haven't had the chance to put new photo's in yet!
I'm pretty sure either Norton v 2 or the Norton Removal Tool ....
Is responsible for my Media Center problem. And damaging my Intel Viiv Software
And I'm a bit worried about Roxio and Windows Movie Maker.
When I used CCleaner I only removed Norton stuff - Nothing else!
But it showed me 1 redundant registry key from both Roxio and Movie Maker.
This makes me wonder... Have they been damaged too!
I haven't even had chance to use them yet.
This computer is only 6 months old. And I've spent the last month fighting with Norton 360 v 2
I should have learnt my lesson when I lost my XP
This really is Norton's last chance!
If the results of the next background Full Scan - look in any way dodgy ... Norton is Out!
