Norton removed a Trojan but my email is sending spam

A few days ago I ran a scan and a trojan was located and removed from my laptop. After that i found that two email accounts have been sending spam to people in my address books. The spam has been sent from both Gmail and Yahoo Mail. I ran further scans both with Norton and with Malwarebytes and both came up with no viruses/trojans. Then I downloaded orton Power Eraser and ran it, looking for rootkits. Again, it came up empty. But another spam was sent from my Yahoo account when my laptop was turned off.

I cannot figure out how to solve this problem. People in my address books are getting emails from me linking to malicious sites. Is there any way that I can stop this or any way that Norton can root out the virus responsible? Thanks.
