I am getting sick and tired of this stupid Norton 360 always wanting to wipe out the cookies for my TV Guide settings! No one seems to have the interest to fix this problem!! I have set everything I can find in Norton 360 to NOT do this, including, leave Firefox ALONE, ignore low risk items, Ignore cookie scans, unchecked "trackware" in admin settings, and unchecked EVERYTHING in automatic scans except Windows Registry Scan... and this stupid program STILL comes up with some God-Awful scary looking "We have an alert for you!" message telling me that it wants to delete my TV Guide cookies!! I have even gone in many times now and told it to NOT do this (can't remember now how 360 words it) but every time I say to ingore these it still comes up with this same BS. That was a previous "fix" posted here a while back but it DOES NOT WORK! What is wrong with this program??? I am at the point now that I will soon abandon Norton altogether and find some other way to protect my computer. -Extremely Frustrated, DWK
That is really strange. I have N360 set to ignore cookies as well and never have seen a problem with it. I have the most up-to-date version of N360. It will be interesting to see what other posters have to say.
Hi DWKsimi,
Have you tried this solution?:
