I have recently had a really annoying issue regarding receiving live updates see http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=nis_feedback&thread.id=13715&view=by_date_ascending&page=3.
However release .33 has fixed this so quite happy however now have a new problem. As before this is across four devices a desktop (xp), a new NC10 (xp) laptop, a vaio vista laptop and a vaio XP laptop. ALL have the problem (dont raise them if there not common).
If I havent touched the device in a few days then of course when you go in you get the alert that your "virus definitions are out of date" this pops up more than once and on XP is slightly worse as windows PC security also pops up...
If I press FIX then it downloads the latest updates however it does NOT clear the error so it remains as a warning.
If I dont do anything I can see the latest pulse updates downloading but it still does not go away...?
The only way I have to clear this is to download the definitions manually and install them then it clears. Of course I dont want to be doing this nor do I really want loads of pop-ups. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks.
