After attempting to download a SQL Server Backup utility, i.e., "SQLBackupAndFTP" https:// sqlbackupandftp . com/download/, Norton 360 Premier Insight stated that: "Hundreds of users in the Norton Community have used this file.", but reported it as a threat and promptly removed it.
Norton also said the file was "Mature", and that: "This file was released 31 days ago."
Why would Norton take this action after stating that 100's of users have used the file. The utility is referenced by other users (i.e., StackOverFlow) as a useful tool.
