I downloaded Norton Bootable Recovery Tool ISO. Following the instructions, I created a bootable DVD with ImgBurn and then another one but none of them were booting.
Then, using Rufus 3.1, I created bootable USB. The same result.
I checked the BIOS and first choice is USB/DVD. I also tried bitdefender-rescue-cd and it was booting without problem.
NBRT will not run if the target OS is in hibernated state. On Win8+ machines, Fast Boot was introduced wherein a Hybrid Shutdown takes place, i.e on Win8+ machines, when you just give shutdown, by default the system gets hibernated. Since on a hibernated state, the entire ram is dumped to disk, we choose to not scan the machine since it could leave the system in an inconsistent state. So, we error out and request the user to turn off Fast Boot .

Yeah, IDK. When I try to change boot order. I'm not finding my nbrt disc. My machine boot manager is not recognizing my nbrt disc. It's been years since last tried to boot from NBRT disc.
I downloaded and burned 2 bootable disks from other brands:
Bitdefender
boot\
EFI\
rescue\
syslinux\
grubx64.efi
Kaspersky
boot\
data\
EFI\
System\
autorun.ico
autorun.inf
boot.catalog
efi.img
krd_bases_timestamp.txt
krd_version.txt
mach_kernel
In conclusion, Norton Security cannot provide rescue disc, that is why is not bootable. Wasting my time and chat service was clueless and sent me in the forum.
