New to the forums so excuse any wrong doings.
Got a new laptop Lenovo windows 8 with Norton per loaded with a special price to buy for a year.Trouble is that the default settings on Norton ,firewall prevent access to my wireless router.It has been bad enough coming to grips with Windows 8 but I cannot even get on line to then alter the settings.The last login attempt said I was locked out for an hour,after I bought the years protection then losing my wireless ........
So rather than typing on me laptop am on me I pad..........
I wonder whether the settings are made so that you have to seek help or am I being cyclical in my young age.
I guess this has come up before on the forums but not with the angle of it is deliberate for commercial reasons that there is no easy guide given on the laptop so you can alter.
Could someone point me in the right direction please to solve this.
O and by the way whilst my old laptop was getting near needing replacement anyway having got caught by a virus finally made me purchase a new one now.Now that's another story but avoid speedy XX pro .......the way the system operates is very very clever but worse than those who con elderly retired people out of their money for bogus repairs to their house
