After enabling the Norton Toolbar
And enabling the Norton Safe Web
I use that to do my searches online; I dont use Google and I dont use Bing; and basically Norton Safe Web is powered by Ask.com
So within the last week there has been two searchings I have tried and it causes my Internet Explorer 9 to crash; and eventually give me certificate errors.
Does Norton no longer Support Internet Explorer 9??? I've now noticed 2 things that Norton + Internet Security + Internet Explorer 9 doesnt work well. My checkout experience with Identify Safe with 1 shopping site and the "Norton Safe Search"
Anyways the irony is that if I search for a particular phrase; InternetExplorer crashes; but if I search for something else it wont crash. What does that mean? It means like this....if I search for Banana's we will say....it will crash, but if I search for Apples and Pears it wont crash.
It means that if I search for Elementary Schools it will crash, but if I search for Junior High and High Schools it will not crash.
BTW those were complete examples; I havent even tried to see if those will replicate LOL
So let me close with these 2 iterations again:
1-Does Symantec + Norton + Internet Security + Internet Explorer 9= No longer compatible?
2- Why does my IE crash when I search for certain things causing a 'certificate error"?
Thanks
PS. I tried a particular phrase that crashed my IE and tried it on Google Chrome and it works just fine! So again; is IE9 no longer compatible? BAH?!!?!?!
