Hi All, I recently installed NIS 2011 and so far it works well. I also installed the facebook scanning application in my fb account. Just today, one of my friends unknowingly posted a link with a potential virus. Safe Web quickly saw this and flagged the link to me and posted it on my profile. This is okay. Unfortunately, it started spamming my friend in his FB page. I have enclosed a screen capture of this. There were many posts in reply to his link. I took the trouble of deleting about 5 of them. I suspect norton safe web will continue spamming my friend until he takes down the post. I did not want to wait for this for fear I might loose a friend. I had to dis-able auto scanning in the Norton FB application. My question: Is there a way to avoid this spamming? How do you avoid multiple warnings. Thanks for your immediate response.
