I need help with Norton Safe Web.
For the last several months every week or two the Norton Safe Web green OK sign changes to the caution sign for my website (www.basefashion.co.uk) I have requested a re-evaluation and usually between a few hours to a couple of days the caution is changed back to the OK sign.
Each time when requesting a re-evaluation I have asked for information as to why this keeps on happening. If this is a piece of code on my website that triggers a false reading then maybe I can get my site designers to look at it. But no one ever replies.
My designers assure me that there is no malicious coding on my site and as they host and design numerous other ecommerce sites that do not have this problem I can only believe them.
At the beginning of December I thought I would try to tackle this problem from a different angle and sign up for Norton’s Verisign Trusted sites. The very day that I received a report that passed my site, the icon later changed from green to orange again.
This happened again when my monthly subscription was paid for January.
I finally managed to speak to a human being at Norton customer services and explained the problem to her and a few days later she called me back saying that the problem had been solved and this would not happen again.
Yet, just over 24 hours later the icon has changed back to orange and I have had to submit my site for yet another re-evaluation.
Please can someone help me out here? Can someone tell me why this keeps on happening and how to make it stop?
