Norton Safe Web - How Long Does It Take To Test Site?

It now been over 6 weeks since I had the site Jamboinc.com registered and verified. I sent an email to site_owner_help_en@symantec.com on July 05, 2011 requesting when we can expect to have the site tested. It's July 29 today and I have still not received a reply to that email.

 

Can anyone please tell me how long it takes to have the site tested?

Hello again, I am not sure if this is unusual, but I was checking our site Jamboinc.com  today and it says that the site has not been tested yet. On July 29 we were informed that site is rated green "Your site 'jamboinc.com' had been submitted for analysis and is currently rated green in safeweb.norton.com." but that has changed. Can anyone please help me understand why this is the case? There have no changes made to the site since July 29.

Forums can be a disaster for customer support. This discussion is an example.

 

Why? I wondered how long it would take to get a new site rated. Your response to this post was: It's done. How does that ever answer anybody elses question? If you responded that: Your site has been rated. it normally takes between 3 to 5 days, or whatever the answer is, then future users of the forum would also get an answer too. Many companies use Forums to support their customers but until they have people that can use some common sense in answering the questions users like me spend hours of wasted time searching for answers that aren't there. It's almost as bad as when someone posts a question, there's a whole dialog about how to find the answer then the poster adds "Never Mind" I figured it out without ever telling what the solution was. Users spend hours of wasted time reading through the posts just to find that the answer is never posted. Come on folks, let's get smart!!!

According to the Norton Safe Web Site Owners page, "the initial evaluation process takes about two weeks to complete."
