Norton Safe Web is killing my business.

My wife has a business with a web-page(adriannerealestate.com).(Had it for at least 3 years, and it does not contain any threats)

This is a point2 website, where we don't have access to the root folder.(template based).

After Norton came out with this(Norton Safe Web)great idea, her page shows as gray and untested compared to others who are green, with Norton's "sit is safe"comment.

After following Norton's (only available)instructions about copying their file to our root folder (which is impossible for us as we don't have access to root folder),and a 2 hour chat(this is the worst experience I have ever had)with Norton chat we are left with no option to get a "green, site is safe"check by Norton.

Many of our potential customers probably use Norton Safe Web as they are surfing to find us.

Most people will probably click on a green,compared to a gray(untested)link .

The Safe Web concept seems like a good idea, but is it right that it's the owner of the page that has to do the work?

I think Norton should do the work to test the web page, when it's Norton who sets the "grade"for the page.

Specially, when they provide NO option for people who do not have access to their root folder.

Seriously we have noticed a drop in hits,I think this is food for lawyers..
