Would like to establish ownership for a site at sites.google.com so site can be tested and have a green check mark instead of a gray question mark.
Created login on safeweb.norton.com and started verification - test request process.
Received email from donotreply@symantec.com directing me to modify the <head> section of site or create a page named
nortonsw_f127e100-5860-0.html at root folder of website.
Unfortunately with a site on sites.google.com - you can do neither.
- You have NO access to <head> section of website.
- While you can create a page named nortonsw_f127e100-5860-0 accessable from the root you are not given the option to add an .html extension. So you can NOT create nortonsw_f127e100-5860-0.html.
Are sites built on sites.google.com excluded from the Norton Safe Web program?
Site in question is www.samenasquares.org and www.samenasquares.org/nortonsw_f127e100-5860-0 is available with data from email. Site also available at http://sites.google.com/site/samenasquares
Thanks for any assistance -
