I have a Asus FT300 tablet that I upgraded to Android 4.1.1 wich made Google Chrome avaiable to use. I installed the Norton Safety Minder on the Tablet and configured the "child" settings to block web sites. The program tells me that house rules are active so I tryed Chrome and it still loaded web sites. So I tryed the default browser and sure enough the web sites where blocked. Is there something I need to do to get Chrome working?

I'm not sure you are in the right forum as this is intended for discussions of Norton Mobile Security. However as I was not aware of Norton Safety Minder and see that the only reference in the forums to Norton Online Family appears to be the old and little used Online Family to Go Beta I cannot suggest a better place. If I do think of a better place then I may ask a moderator to move it for better visibility but don't worry a link will remain here.
Now to try and give you some sort of response. As far as I am aware Norton are only supporting Web protection in their mobile products via the default browser. A number of people have expressed a wish to see Chrome supported and I am sure Norton have considered it but as far as I am aware it remains unsupported and with no target date for it to be supported. Sorry if that was not the news you wanted.

The problem with this response is that most android tablets now have chrome as their default browser. This will render the application useless unless support is provided.
