I have a backup job in Norton Save & Restore that backs up an external USB drive. The problem is that the drive is not available immediately after boot so Norton Save & Restore disables the job during every system boot, which is absolutely maddening. Why not leave the job alone and let it fail if the drive isn't available when the actual backup is scheduled.
Is there a work around for this problem. I know this is an old product pretty much superceded by Ghost, but there's no guarantee that upgrading to Ghost would resolve this problem.
