I am using an XP SP2 machine with .NET 3.5 SP1 framework installed. Also, running Kaspersky Internet Security 2009. I used NS&R before (with no problem) but my backup external drive crashed.
I installed NS&R again, and used live update. No problem with install , but when I try to start the NS&R I get a error ..'service module has encountered a problem, needs to close'... ..cannot turn on the Norton Save&Restore service..always getting this Error..
checked the event application log...the description
" Faulting application VProSvc.exe, version 2.0.6.26322, faulting module VProImaging.dll, version 2.0.6.26322, fault address 0x005dccb5"
Uninstalled Norton Save&Restore and reinstalled with no luck. Any help in appreciated.
