I just wanted to express my thanks for the great software program "Norton save & Restore" I have 3 Laptops, one has NSR 1.0, the other two laptops, have NSR 2.0 and both have saved me from having to reinstall the operating system.. or at least spend countless hours trying to solve problems.. these laptops are between 3, and 4 years old!!!.. do you have any idea the work it would take to rebuild a computer (laptop, or desktop) that would have to go back 4 years!!! updates alone would knock you out!!.. not to mention software, and tons of other things... my biggest problem to date all started when i wanted to install a second brand of disaster recovery software.. well... it was a disaster allright!! my beautiful 4 year old laptop was screwed up the most it has ever been!!.. this software made a partition i didn't know it would make.. and to this date, after getting rid of the partition, i'm still trying to get the unallocated space of 35GBS back to my "C" drive
but besides that right now, if it wasn't for Norton Save & Restore which by the way, is such a pleasure to use... the interface is easy and all the features easy to "Get to Know" "and use" if it wasn't for NSR right now, instead of posting this opinion, i'd be still downloading windows updates, norton updates, and installing software from 4 years ago!!! .. I know i have gotten flustrated at times before with norton products.. (That Norton removel tool!) but after a poster tried to explain why it was nessesary, I kind of recanted, and will continue to use Norton/Symantec products.. and by the way, Symantec is all i have ever used on my Laptops.. and another reason being the great tech support.. and remember,... when you have a computer the question is not ~if you will need tech.support but ~when you will need tech. support~..
