I have norton internet security 2007 disc and activation code. I Upgraded it to the 2009 version back a couple of weeks ago, but then I got an error after a little while saying I had installed it to many times thus the activation code would not work. I didnt understand why it said this because I only had the activation code used on 1 other laptop (that means I have 2 computers with norton). I didnt know what to do and it was WAY to much of a hassle to call customer service in Canada, because they link would bring me no where, so I just un-installed it and re-installed my 2007 norton disc and everything worked perfectly again (obviously though I was running 2007 instead of 2009). So today I get a message to download 2010 version of Norton. After re-installing and restarting my computer I then got the same messge from the 2009 version, saying that I had to many versions installed, which is rediculous because I have been using the 2007 version for the past month! I cant even clal customer service because the silly customer service link just brings me to a message saying I have to buy a new product!! From the looks of it I have to un-install norton AGAIN and re-install 2007 again, but what good is a 2007 virus protection agaisnt rescently composed viruses???
I have had to many problems that have gone un-resolved with norton and the norton community forum and if I dont get this resolved I will most likely switch over to bit deffender or mcaffee.
Thank In advance for anyone that is able to help me!
