Hello @BASAVARAJ
The “This account doesn’t have any active subscriptions” error happens because your Norton account login is disconnected from how the subscription was originally purchased or activated , meaning the system is looking in the wrong place to cancel it. Because your subscription runs until May 2027 – you should disable the auto-renewal now to prevent future drama.
Step 1: Locate Where the Purchase Happened
Norton cannot cancel a subscription from their website if it was processed through a third-party app store or retailer. Check how you originally paid:
Google Play Store (Android) : Open the Play Store → Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Select Norton and cancel.
Apple App Store (iPhone/iPad) : Open iPhone Settings → Tap your Apple ID name at the top → Subscriptions → Select Norton and cancel.
Step 2: Fix the Account Disconnect (If Purchased Directly via Norton.com)
If you bought it directly from Norton’s website, your browser is likely logged into a different or duplicate account.
Check your invoice email : Find the original purchase email from May 2024 or later. Check the exact email address where Norton sends your billing alerts.
Log out completely : Go to my.Norton.com, sign out entirely, clear your browser cache, and log back in using that exact email address.
Turn off Auto-Renew : Once in the correct account, go to My Subscriptions → Manage Renewal → Unsubscribe .
Step 3: Use the Indian Banking “Safety Net”
If the website remains completely broken and continues to show errors, you can block the charge at the banking level:
RBI e-Mandate Rules : Under Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations, all recurring auto-debit payments require an explicit e-mandate.
Cancel via your Banking App : Log into your Indian bank app (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, etc.) or credit card portal. Navigate to Manage Cards / Recurring Payments / e-Mandates and revoke/cancel the Norton mandate directly. This legally blocks them from pulling money in May 2027.
Step 4: Contact Support Directly
If you want official confirmation that the auto-renew is dead, bypass the broken online dashboard:
Log into my.Norton.com and use the Live Chat option.
Tell the agent: “I am getting an account error online. Manually turn off my automatic renewal for May 2027 and keep my active protection running.”
Save the chat transcript as proof of your cancellation request

GUI says switch plan - but it instead of switching the plan it - appends the plan to current plan - basically norton does not want to let go of the current money it received
