Yes

 Himanshu:

Thank you for the confirmation.

 Himanshu:

I would like to inform you that you will be charged for GBP 49.99 for the renewal of this Norton product.

 Himanshu:

May I know if have seen lower price of the same product?

 Kevin Skinner:

Then why does it clearly state that there is a Special offer on the email I received today of £14.99 ? I don't know what country you are in but in the UK it is illegal to state one price then charge a higher price!!!

 Himanshu:

Please do not worry, I am here to help you with this. Could you please provide me the email address from where you received the email?

 Kevin Skinner:

norton@nortonfromsymantic.com

 Himanshu:

Thank you for the information. As I have checked in your Norton account. I have not found any email regarding the special offer. May I know if you have any other email address with Norton?

 Kevin Skinner:

No

 Kevin Skinner:

It is obvious this is another scam - AND by the very people that is supposed to be protecting us !!!!!!!! I will buy Avast

 Himanshu:

Please do not worry, I will renew your Norton product with the same price £14 99. Does that okay with you?

 Kevin Skinner:

This is all a bit suspect! I believe this email is sent in the hope that a proportion of your customers will PAY the $49 99 without checking the exchange rate it stinks!!! AND I will put all this information on the internet and Facebook!

 Himanshu:

I would like to inform you that as I have checked in your Norton account, there is no email regarding the special offer. But as you are valuable customer, I can process the renewal with the same price £14 99. Please do not worry, we are always here to help you.

 Kevin Skinner:

Are you suggesting the email I am looking at is not from you - I simply do not believe it! If I knew how I could sent you a screenshot.

 Himanshu:

The email you receive is a marketing email from the Norton, but the price of the Norton product in your Norton account is same as GBP 49.99. May I know if there is link to renew the Norton product in that email?

 Kevin Skinner:

 Kevin Skinner:

Once AGAIN I state that it is illegal to send these emails and then charge the full price.

 Himanshu:

Please do not worry, I will certainly help you with this. I can place the order with the same price £14 99 as in the special offer. In response to such emails customers are always advised to contact us for the proper resolution.

 Kevin Skinner:

Your replies to me offer NO explanation - are you reading them?

 Himanshu:

Yes, it seems to be technical problem that is why it is showing the higher price. I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Please do not worry, I am here to help you with this.

 Kevin Skinner:

Why on earth would I want further protection from Norton who are scamming themselves? I find this whole thing both Illegal and unbelievable from Norton

 Kevin Skinner:

I am NOT worried I am very angry!

 Himanshu:

I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. Symantec provides you the offers via emails and we are here to assist you with those offers.

 Himanshu:

May I know if you are agree with the renewal of your Norton product with the same price £14 99?

 Kevin Skinner:

I am getting nowhere with you at all - Is there a direct email address to voice my complaint - NO I do not want any more to do with Norton and I am going to make this public!

 Himanshu:

May I know when you have received the email?

 Kevin Skinner:

6:49 A.M. - And I will include the total transcript of this whole conversation which I have copied.
