Norton Secure VPN has disappeared since updating to Windows 11?

Hi, I hope someone is able to help me. I just finished updating my laptop to Windows 11. While the Norton app seems to be working okay, it seems the VPN has now disappeared. I have enabled it with the toggling on/off and usually it would be displayed under the wifi area if it was connected or not. And even though the Norton app says it IS connected, I'm not seeing anything in my wifi settings that it is or not. Anyone else had this issue after updating? Not sure how to fix this so I hope there's someone on here that had the same issue. Need the VPN function while I do my work. Thanks in advance!

You can check that the VPN is active by checking your IP address at a site like   https://whatismyipaddress.com  . Turn the VPN off and check that site to see the IP address that your ISP has assigned. Then turn on the VPN and reload the web page and see where it reports you are.

There may just be a change in the way that Windows 11 reports your connection.
