Norton 360 / 22.19.9.63
Windows 10 Pro (1903 / 18362.592)
Hello...
When i move the popup window from "Norton Secure VPN" to my second screen i can't use the mouse for selecting anything inside this window. I can only move and close it.
When it opens on the main screen of my laptop (Acer ES17) i can access anything and it works fine with the mouse.
One more testings:
When i close the VPN-Window on 2nd screen an open it again there is no content visible (see screenshot).
Moving the empty window to 1st screen - close it - open again content is visible.
The window of Norton 360 - and any other application window can be moved to both screen and they work all fine with the mouse on both screens.
So as far as i see there must be a problem with the VPN-Window handling on second screen.
Wowwww....
New updates to version 22.20.1.69 fix this problem - or better described: Makes a issue solution unnecessary....
The old separate occuring status/operating window for SecureVPN is canceled and a reduced management integrated in main window:
Deaktivieren / VPN-Region /Ad Tracking / Weitere Infos
Very tricky solution for programming problems: If i don't find the issue i make another method....
But at least this reduced management works also on the second screen....
What a pity! - It was nice to have a small window opened to see the status of VPN....
Being hard-/software development engineer myself i think its not a problem of the drivers, because then more applications should act in this way....
And actual only SecVPN shows this effect.....
Hello...
I just checked if there is a new driver for DisplayLink (actual installed 9.1 used for my i-Tec docking station).
I updated this driver to version 9.3 - but as expected nothing changed in the behaviour of Secure VPN window.
More details i found:
If the SecVPN window is on 2nd screen the marked "red" areas (see attachment) are not selectable.
Shifting the same window to main screen the areas are selectable.
