I have just tried to install norton security 2011 on a new windows 7 64 bit installation following the complete failure of an SSD. This is a bare system with updated drivers and all the latest windows patches.
When I install norton the internet is blocked preventing activation and ie9 does not work. I have tried turning off the firewall but it makes no difference. The only way I can get the internet back is to completely remove NIS 2011.
Any help would be gratefully received
