My operating system is Windows XP Home Edition. Twice now it happened to me after doing a successful Systems Restore I find that it somehow messes with NIS 2011. I get this error 3043,1 and I can't get Norton to get back to normal, I have to uninstall Norton, then reinstall it and reload all the updates before it begins to work normally again. Why is that? I remember before it wouldn't do that. All I did in the past was disable the Product Tamper which would keep Norton from interfering with the System Restore process and I would get a successful System Restore operation to a previous point, then I would enable Norton's Product Tamper button and everything would be fine.
But now I get this risk indicator after doing a successful System Restore that my NIS is not secure along with that error 3043,1 code. Is there something else I need to do now besides disabling the Product Tamper before doing a System Restore? Any help as always will be greatly appreciate.
