I manually ran the update to get 26.6.11050 but when I restarted Windows security had a red x and Norton had a red x.
So after going through all the settings I noticed a setting called Crypto Wallet Protection. This was off by default. I had to go into advanced security settings to turn it on. Once it was on the Windows and Norton red x’s were gone.
Just in case anyone else was having the same issue.
I was just coming here to post about this. I can’t be the only one who will never use that, so it would be really appreciated if it became something that could be turned off without getting the red X.

I do not have a crypto wallet myself and therefore I do not have this option to turn on or off.
What does this option really do and is there a downside to turning it on?
Everyone: This is being discussed in this thread as well: Note - The red X issue is related to the Crypto Wallet setting being set at the default “disabled” with the latest update. Manually setting it to ON whether you have a wallet or not rids this issue.
Edited: I have not seen nor had any issues with this setting ON and no wallet thus far on Windows 10 or 11.

The Red X issue in the Systray icon has been resolved with latest release of 26.6.11052 . Please run LiveUpdate and Restart the machine to check if it is resolved.
