Hello,
i have some problem with Norton Internet Seciruty 。 my PC (Windows 7 ). The PC stopped by "Blue screen":

Hello!
Symantec Support team recommended to uninstall Windows update KB2670838. I did it.
The problem is solved.

  • (repeat)post the steps to reproduce the BSOD / Crash? 
  • A Screen Capture of the Blue Screen with Error Numbers (Stop Error, Technical Information)
  • Since when are you facing the BSOD issue? (Date, Is it after a Norton update or third party software update etc.,)

Norton Power Eraser and Norton Removal Tool and entirely different things. Power Eraser is ONLY to be used when your system is infected. It is a special malware removal tool. Norton Removal Tool is to aid in uninstalling Norton when normal uninstallation fails. Just cause your computer is blue screening does not mean it is Norton. There could be 100 different causes. Mainly failing hardware. You can download BlueScreenViewer which will give you more of a better description. Your Norton Security is also out of date. Current version is 22.8.1.14. Please run Live Update several times to get your version up to date.
