Hi all,
I have the latest version of iTunes 12.0.1.26 which was working fine with 3
iPods. I then replaced Norton Internet security 21.0 on my windows 7 laptop
with Norton security (that's all it's called) and now iTunes freezes when I
connect an iPod. I sometimes get the error message that “the ipod cannot be
synced the disk is not available” iTunes will not shut down until I disconnect
the iPod, and eject it in My Computer.
I have uninstalled Norton security and all works fine, when I reinstall norton
the problem returns. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes but to no
avail.
I contacted Norton, who carried out a remote connection to my laptop but after
several hours and several attempts by the technicians (and me losing the will
to live) I gave up.
I have tried this on a second laptop with the same version of iTunes and Norton
Security and I am having the same problem.
Has anyone encountered this?
