Norton Security Blocking Quicken Program

All of a sudden, Norton Security, V22.21.5.44 is blocking my Quicken Program (qw.exe). I told Norton to Trust the file, but it continues to block it. 

I've used Quicken and Norton for at least 10 years now and today Norton decides it is a vicious virus. 

If I told Norton to Trust the file, why does it continue to give me these messages?

Here is a screen shot, tell me what Norton wants me to do?

I tried what you suggested. And you are correct. Since I marked it "Trusted" I am able to load and exit without any warnings. 

Weird situation, hope it is finally resolved.

No the program would not load. Quicken gave me a chance to validate the file, but it didn't work. This blockage just started after I took an update from Quicken. 

Does the Quicken program load? If so, can you see what 'suspicious activity' is being blocked by the Data Protector feature?

I have the Canadian version of Quicken and have not seen any blockages.

 

Hello. Clear your detected file ID's in Norton settings. Since you have already given it trust it should load and run. You can also excluded the entire folder the program is installed into as well.
