I am using Norton Security 8.6.3 with macOS Big Sur 11.3 on a M1 Mac mini.
I've been experiencing the problem of using FaceTime on my Mac with no visual obtained on the other side of communication.
I learnt that Norton Security is blocking FaceTime from accessing the camera and thus no visual could be obtained for the other side of communication but I couldn't find a better solution to that except turning off the firewall which completely defeated the purpose of having the Norton Security installed in the first place.
I would love to have a fix to this problem or else I need to uninstall the whole Norton Security and switches to another apps which would not block FaceTime.
Thanks!

Do you guys read issues reported by other users too? There have been so many issues reported by other users including myself too. It looks like you guys give priority to a few issues and ignore the other ones. If you guys have read the reviews, at least let them know that we are looking into this issue or working on a fix to let them know that you guys have acknowledged about the issue. Most of them will think the forum is unmonitored or dead because you guys either don't acknowledge most of the problems or just ignore them. What has Norton turned into?
Hi,
