Norton claims that Security Deluxe can be downloaded to PC's (which went perfectly on my desktop) and Android mobile devices. When I tried it gave me a 'not compatible' sign for my Lenovo A7600-F tablet with Android 4.4.2 with 10.26gb internal memory. The reason given was that I needed at least 4.0.3 and 15mb memory, Hallo this seems to be a case of very misleading advertising or am I mistaken.

Very understandable. But any owner or an android phone or iOS phone knows you can only download apps via the Google play or Apple store. It's been that way for many years now. Yes Norton should word it better. Several others have complained. Especially when it comes to iPhones. There is no antivirus for iPhones so how can Norton say we cover your phone.
It would be nice if Norton used less of a 'geek' language. Sorry about that as it is great that there are so many 'geeks' around who can point us PC illiterate in the right direction.

You put me in the right direction by sending me to Google/Android play store.
Norton Security is now on my tablet. It would not be a bad idea if Norton could explain itself more clearly in their advertising.

Norton Security Deluxe is not made for tablets. You cannot download and install 3rd party apps via a link or email. You need to download and install apps from only the Google Play store. There is Norton Security for androids.

Try restarting the tablet. That may free up some memory. I have seen this on my HTC phone.
Where are you downloading the android version from? It should be the Android/Google play App Store.
While the Android version does give a minimum of 4.0.3 it doesn't give a minimum memory. If that is the case then I'm surprised it doesn't mention that.
