Norton Security for Mac 4.0 and widgets

Hi,

 

I have he firewall up and running and it seems that all the widgets I have that access the internet (weather for example) won't work.

 

I don't get any pop-ups asking me to allow the widgets to connect to the internet.  I then tried to enable them manually by adding the to the allowed applications but in vain since it seems only .app aplications can be added.

 

How do I fix that ?   Thank you !
