After this week's - latest - Rocket League (PC game) update (via Steam), Norton Security alarming a heuristic/generic trojan (Troja.Gen.8) and is removing the start-file 'rocketleague.exe'.
At my brother-in-law's PC (Norton Security, too) it is exactly the same situation.
...tryed it on my other PC (running Bitdefender) -> no virus found ...took the file on USB stick to my work laptop (Kaspersky on it) -> no virus found
Ok. I wrote to Psyonix Support (they made Rocket League) to get support, but I am wondering, why only Norton Security is alarming and removing ... no other famous Internet Security.
I am pretty sure to have no malware (except unknown, or from country agencies, ...who knows). It seems to be some behaviour of the update starting exe...
Symatec, please inform me, if you need something (copy of the file, ...) to investigate and solve. I would like to run the game without setting the file as an exeption. Thank you!
