I believe the interface of a software product should be as simple as possible. Norton is quite simple, but it could maintain its functionality loosing a few unnecessary 'clicks'.
On the main window of Norton we see the message 'You are protected' and a few expanded tabs on the bottom (Security, Identity, Backup, Performance ...). The fact that these tabs need clicking-on to reveal the available options (scan, update, history etc.) is unnecessary. These tabs have no functionality being minimized or maximized. It would be easier and more direct for the user if these tabs where always minimized on the bottom and work just as tabs!
