I haven't used Norton in about 10 years, but thought I should give it a trial to see how things are these days.
When last I tried Norton, I found it interfered with a number of key functions. It was simply more trouble than the protection was worth.
Many things have changed in the past decade -- smartphones, tablets, streaming everything -- but Norton hasn't.
It is chock full of annoying messages, hidden processes, and worst of all, it STILL interferes with key functions, including streaming video.
I uninstalled it after a couple of days, and sure enough, all the disturbances vanished.
I might check in on Norton in another 10 years, if it is still around, and if security software is even relevant anymore.
