After working fine my Norton Security is reporting attention needed to LiveUpdate. All attempts to update have failed. Last successful update a week ago. Any suggestions to overcome this issue?
I solved my problem by uninstalling and reinstalling Norton Security on the affected Mac. It is now working fine. None of my other Macs had the problem.
I think I have a similar problem but the continued update and fixing by Norton means I cannot switch the lap top fully off.
I had the same thing happen on my Mac laptop. I saw another thread where a user reported s/he restarted the laptop and then LiveUpdate worked fine. I just restarted and Live Update worked! In my case, I also had to allow Symantec access through the firewall. Problem solved! Hope it works for you too.
