Norton Security on more than one computer

Hi I currently have 2 pcs with the Norton Security (mine & my daughters). My daughter is moving out, can anyone tell me if my daughter would have to cancel Norton and start again when she moves or would she be able to keep it till the subscription runs out (she will be on a different network)

Since she was a member of your household when you installed and activated I'm sure there would be no problem in continuing to use it.

I don't think it matters being on a different network since this would happen to any of us when traveling with a laptop for example. I know I can update my definitions etc when away from home.

If it were necessary to access the My Norton Account from her computer she would have to remember that it is on your account with your email address and your password to that specific account but I can't think of any reason for her to have to do this in normal daily life.

Hello

The daughter would need it if she had to reinstall the product and wanted to make sure that she had the key handy incase it wasn't picked up or if she would have need to use the NBRT and didn't know the key. If she got a new computer, that would be another case when she might need to access her mother's Norton Account.

Flo,

Thanks for filling in the gaps ...... Hopefully not to be needed! <s>

Hi mrsmw,

I agree with others that you should be fine for the remainder of your current subscription.

However, technically when the current subscription runs out your daughter would have to purchase her own subscription.

I would encourage checking this with Customer Service to make sure. This is the link for USA/Canada or you can select a different language if needed. Chat is the best option for best response time to your questions.

Best wishes.
