Just had a sequence of odd behaviours by my Mac laptop app and my Android phone app. Warning of being tracked, links which took me to a buy the anti-tracking page which did not have the state in which I a resident on the drop down in address, so unable to purchase. Warnings of new message regarding dark web monitoring…..which, when opening my full account, was not there? Has Norton got security/performance issues right now?

What you are seeing are Norton ads popping up from within their products. The ‘warnings’ are not necessarily an accurate indication of the state of your devices. Just scare tactics to try to get you to pay more money for an extra feature.

Been rather let down by a few things with Norton recently (including….: a security issue sitting the the “top” level tech security people for MANY weeks with no reply or update of nay kind; the links from the anti-tracking ad, today, taking me to a page on which I could not buy because it did not have the state in which I am currently residing in the address drop down(!); another sales site not allowing me to enter the country in which I currently am etcetera). Shall ad today to the lengthening list.
