Norton Security restarted computer without consent

Hi there. Sometime in February, Norton Security downloaded and installed updates on my Mac. After the update, Norton Security flashed a message to state that a restart is required to complete the update. Instead of hitting "Restart", I clicked on "Later" and selected "Remind me about this tomorrow". I expected that with this done, I can continue to proceed with whatever I was doing and restart my machine later. However, my computer just suddenly restarted without my instructing to, and I raised this issue to Norton the first time via Facebook messaging. They insisted that Norton cannot restart the computer on its own. OK, I thought to myself that maybe I did something out of the ordinary and brushed that issue aside.

Today, Norton asked me to restart my computer again to finish installing some updates, and as usual, I hit "Later" followed by "Remind me about this tomorrow". And once again, the computer just restarted itself immediately after I did that. Now, I do not believe that Norton Security has nothing to do with this kind of action which contradicts my intention (and it is absolutely dangerous to allow this to repeat especially when one could be working on something very important). If it happens once, I can probably dismiss it as a coincidence. But as it has happened twice, it is just too easy to claim another coincidence. Therefore I must ask and insist that Norton look into this issue, please.

I'll bring this to Norton's attention. It seems the dialog boxes are not connected to the correct routines.
