Norton security service disactivated

Hello,

each time I switch my hone off , the norton security service is disactivated. App Advisor for google play and web protection are no more active. I have to reactivate it manually.

My phone is an ASUS Zenfone 3 working on Marshmallow 6.0.1.

Would you have any idea about what to do to solve this?

damn ...maybe you could try the chat with a Norton agent . They really helped me

 

I knew you I’ve done everything I both settings checked and everything was active, that device administrator then I rebooted but nothing.

It was not the settings in the Norton App that I changed but the Settings app of the device.

Here are the steps I followed :

1- in the Settings I first went in Accessibility and then activated the Norton Security Service

2- then always in the Settings I went in Security and then in Device administrators and then activated Norton Mobile Security

3- restart the device and it was ok

Actually the issue was solved in the way Peterweb suggested. In the parameters/security menu I selected "Device administrators " (or something like this as I use a french menu) and then I set on "Norton Mobile Security"

After device restarting it works correctly : the Norton security service remains active.

By the way my phone is not rooted.

I did all the steps you’ve recommended you, but the problem is back again after a few minutes it is an app bug that must be resolved immediately in respect of customers who have paid and want an efficient service please fix the inconvenience.

Check the Norton Mobile Security Settings. Tap the 3 bars at the top left and scroll down to App Settings. Scroll to Anti Theft section and be sure you have the Device Administrator setting turned on. This should prevent the service from being stopped

Then restart the device to see if the service is running.

 

Good evening I also every time I have to reactivate the norton security service, not the device rooted Huawei p9 I have a quarrel with annual subscription of Norton product, I hope this problem will be resolved soon because other users on google play complain of this problem.

Have you rooted your device? Another user is seeing a similar issue with their rooted device.
