Norton security startup crash after update to 22.9.0.71 from 22.8.1.14. Win 10 build 15042

Norton security startup crash after update to 22.9.0.71 from 22.8.1.14. c:\windows\system32\drivers\nsx64\1609000.047\symefasi64.sys is corrupt.

After installing Norton Security, the live update patch to 22.9.0.71 will update the driver files and upon reboot computer is stuck in an automatic repair loop. SrtTrail.txt log shows: Boot critical file c:\windows\system32\drivers\nsx64\1609000.047\symefasi64.sys is corrupt.

Must go to troubleshooting options at the failed boot advanced options and get a command prompt. There will be 2 directories in c:\windows\system32\drivers\nsx64\ - 1606000.08E & 1609000.047 - if the symefasi64 files are replaced from the 1606000.08E directory to 1609000.047 the computer will boot again.

So far no problems but will most likely uninstall Norton security and wait for another patch to see if it helps. Downgrading Symefasi64.sys is probably not the best but at least the system was able to boot again.
