I will be quick here...
Windows 7 Home (All updates applied)
Desktop computer
I just enabled the Norton Backup program this morning and have discovered that my overlays are not working.
I have switched off the overlay setting, restarted, then switched it back on, and restarted, still no overlay. I have uninstalled Norton Security Suite, then reinstalled, and restarted, and still have no overlays displaying.
Something I have noticed is:
Attachment #1: Screenshot of Backup settings (to show backup settings)
Attachment #2: Screenshot of Explorer Window - Pictures Library (to illustrate issue)
If I right click on HPIM0309.jpg, select Norton Security Suite, then select add to backup. There is no difference, meaning no overlays...
Attachment #3: No change in overlay status
If I right click in any empty space of the explorer window, and select "refresh", I get the following...
Attachment #4: showing blue box
I then have closed the explorer window, and have manually started a backup.
Upon finishing the backup, of which it said 4 files were updated. I then opened Windows Explorer, and browsed to the same folder as above, and no blue box, nor any overlay...
Attachment #5: Missing blue box, or any overlay, well, I see it won't let me upload #5...
So, any thoughts, I would love some assistance on this one, as I just moved from Windows 7 backup, to here, only to find this issue...
Story of my day, let me tell ya!
edit: See how my day is going, just tried to post, and apparently I can't upload my screenshots, at any rate, will make them available on request...
Thanks,
Jason
