I am glad I am not touching that system, you have also played with the system, running programs, editing the registry, having more then one realtime AV software to conflict. etc.

I don't understand. The only thing I have done is ask questions. I haven't tried to remove the virus from any other source than Norton. I used to have Microsoft Security Essentials and a couple different antispyware programs but removed everything and installed Norton a month or so ago. I do full system scans daily. I have followed your instructions.

Another user that just does not get it. And also thinks I cannot read logs, to realise, programs have been used, the registry has been altered, etc.

I swear I have not tried to do anything since you asked for the logs. Is it possible that I didn't fully remove the old AV months ago? I thought removing from control panel deletes it from your computer. I seriously haven't messed with anything besides doing full system scans from the Norton Security Suite. It does stuff at the end of the scan that's a "tune up" but that's all that happens.
